My recent stay at Hostal Cristina was fantastic. I was in Denia for the fallas in March and the hotel's location was excellent for viewing the festivities. The hotel is situated on a quiet road that leads to the castle, and it is just a short walk to the vibrant streets of Loreto and de la Mar, where you can find numerous bars and restaurants. The room was immaculately clean and had all the amenities I needed, including a small fridge and excellent air conditioning. The lady who checked me in was incredibly helpful and friendly, and I was able to store my bags in the office as I arrived early. The view from my window over the nearby convent was stunning.
I highly recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The decoration was lovely, with warm colors and comfortable furniture. It created a welcoming and homely feeling, which is perfect for senior people like myself. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a peaceful environment to relax. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility was excellent, with ramps and elevators available to make it easier for seniors to navigate.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be more attentive and helpful. Sometimes, I needed assistance with carrying my luggage or finding my way around the hotel, and it would have been nice to have their support.

The Spanish and Russian-speaking staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable information about the area. They made us feel right at home. The property's bar was a great place to unwind and have some fun. We enjoyed playing pool and darts while enjoying our drinks. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of Denia. We were able to easily reach the port and railway station, making it convenient for our day trips to Ibiza and Mallorca. The free WiFi in all guestrooms was a lifesaver. We were able to stay connected and share our wonderful experiences with friends and family back home. Our room, with air conditioning and heating, was comfortable and cozy. The private bathroom and TV were great bonuses.
Limited staff availability during late hours.
